Had a really fun time at the Design Lab retreat on Friday! Nadir showed us The Last Gift, a documentary he co-produced that won a Pacific Southwest Emmy—and brought the Emmy along, so of course I had to get some photos 😃
The film follows people living with HIV who, at the end of their lives, choose to donate their tissues to research. Really touching, and a reminder of how much the human side of research matters. Go watch it!
